About the JSON Object Counter

Nesting depth is the number worth watching. Many parsers and databases impose a depth limit - a document nested past about 100 levels will be rejected by several of them, and is often a sign of a cycle that was serialised badly.

No. This tool runs entirely in your browser using standard web APIs, so your document never leaves your device. You can confirm it by opening your browser's network panel while the tool runs, or by disconnecting from the internet after the page has loaded.
