About the JSON to JSON Lines
JSON Lines is what log pipelines, BigQuery, and most bulk-import endpoints expect. Because each record is a complete document on its own line, a file can be streamed and processed without holding it all in memory.
It also means a corrupt record costs you one line rather than the whole file.

No. This tool runs entirely in your browser using standard web APIs, so your document never leaves your device. You can confirm it by opening your browser's network panel while the tool runs, or by disconnecting from the internet after the page has loaded.
