About the Tint Editor

Tint runs at right angles to temperature, from green to magenta. Fluorescent and some LED lighting produces a green cast that warming cannot touch, which is exactly what this control is for.

Correcting white balance properly usually means adjusting both axes: temperature first to get the overall warmth right, then tint to remove what is left.

No. This tool runs entirely in your browser using standard web APIs, so your image never leaves your device. You can confirm it by opening your browser's network panel while the tool runs, or by disconnecting from the internet after the page has loaded.
