About the Find and Replace Text
With regular expressions turned off, everything you type is matched literally - dots, brackets and slashes included - so you never have to escape anything.
With them turned on you get capture groups: search for `(\w+)@(\w+)` and replace with `$2 - $1` to reorder matched parts. An invalid pattern is reported in plain English rather than swallowed.
Whole-word matching wraps the search in word boundaries, so replacing "cat" will not touch "category".

Is your text uploaded to a server?
No. This tool runs entirely in your browser using standard web APIs, so your text never leaves your device. You can confirm it by opening your browser's network panel while the tool runs, or by disconnecting from the internet after the page has loaded.
Is it free, and do I need an account?
Yes, it is free, and there is no account, no sign-up and no watermark on the result. The project is funded by optional donations.
