About the YAML Diff

Comparing YAML as text is unreliable: reordered keys, different quoting and different list styles all show as changes when nothing has actually changed. This compares the parsed data instead.

That is the comparison you want between two Kubernetes manifests, two CI configurations, or the same file before and after a tool rewrote it.

No. This tool runs entirely in your browser using standard web APIs, so your document never leaves your device. You can confirm it by opening your browser's network panel while the tool runs, or by disconnecting from the internet after the page has loaded.
