About the Replace One Colour
Every matching pixel becomes exactly the new colour, so any shading inside the replaced area is flattened. For logos, icons and diagrams that is what you want.
On a photograph it will look painted on, because a real object is never a single colour. The hue editor handles photographs better.
To find the exact colour to replace, run the colour picker on the image first.

No. This tool runs entirely in your browser using standard web APIs, so your image never leaves your device. You can confirm it by opening your browser's network panel while the tool runs, or by disconnecting from the internet after the page has loaded.
