About the Resize to Exact Dimensions

By default the image is scaled to cover the box and the overflow is cropped from the edges, so nothing is distorted and the centre is preserved.

Stretching forces both dimensions independently. It fills the frame exactly and makes faces and circles visibly wrong, so it is off by default.

Is your image uploaded to a server?

No. This tool runs entirely in your browser using standard web APIs, so your image never leaves your device. You can confirm it by opening your browser's network panel while the tool runs, or by disconnecting from the internet after the page has loaded.

Is it free, and do I need an account?
