JSON to CSV Converter
Turn a JSON array into CSV, flattening nested objects into dotted column names.
Your result will appear here as soon as you add some input.
How to use it
- 1Paste your CSV, or open the file in a text editor and copy it in.
- 2Adjust the delimiter and header options if the preview looks wrong.
- 3Adjust the options if you need something other than the defaults.
- 4Download the result, or copy it straight back into your spreadsheet.
About the JSON to CSV Converter
The column list is the union of every key across every record, so records missing a field get an empty cell rather than shifting the columns.
Nested objects are flattened into dotted names - address.city - because CSV has no nested column type. Without flattening, a nested object is written as a JSON string inside the cell.
Values containing the delimiter, a quote or a line break are quoted and escaped, so the result survives a round trip back through a parser.
