About the IPv6 Address Validator
Eight groups of up to four hex digits, with at most one `::` standing in for a run of zero groups. A second `::` makes the address ambiguous and is rejected.
IPv4-mapped addresses such as `::ffff:192.0.2.1` are accepted - they are how an IPv6 socket represents an IPv4 peer.

Is it free, and do I need an account?
Yes, it is free, and there is no account, no sign-up and no watermark on the result. The project is funded by optional donations.
