About the Hex File Viewer

Each line shows the offset, sixteen bytes in hexadecimal and the printable ASCII alongside, which is the layout every hex editor uses.

Only the requested slice is read from disk, so opening a 200 MB file to look at its first kilobyte is instant.

This is a viewer, not an editor - it reads bytes and never writes them.

Is your file uploaded to a server?

No. This tool runs entirely in your browser using standard web APIs, so your file never leaves your device. You can confirm it by opening your browser's network panel while the tool runs, or by disconnecting from the internet after the page has loaded.

Is it free, and do I need an account?
