About the Images to PDF

Images are embedded as they are, without re-compression, so quality is unchanged and the PDF is roughly the size of the images it contains. Compress them first if the result needs to be smaller.

Matching each page to its image gives a document with no wasted space. Choosing a paper size instead scales each image to fit, centred, which is what you want if the document will be printed.

Only JPG and PNG can be embedded directly in a PDF - those are the formats the specification supports. Convert anything else first.

Questions people ask

Is my PDF uploaded to a server?

No. The document is read and rewritten by JavaScript in your own browser. Nothing is transmitted, which is the only sensible arrangement for contracts, invoices, medical records and anything else people put in a PDF.

What order are the images in?

The order they appear in the file list, which is the order you selected them. Rename them with a numeric prefix first if the order matters and your file picker sorts differently.

Is your document uploaded to a server?

No. This tool runs entirely in your browser using standard web APIs, so your document never leaves your device. You can confirm it by opening your browser's network panel while the tool runs, or by disconnecting from the internet after the page has loaded.

Is it free, and do I need an account?

Yes, it is free, and there is no account, no sign-up and no watermark on the result. The project is funded by optional donations.
