About the Drag and Drop File Inspector
Name, size, type and modification time are all a browser exposes about a file before reading its contents - and the type is guessed by the operating system from the extension, which is why it is sometimes wrong and often empty.
That is precisely why upload validation cannot trust it. The first bytes are shown here too, which is what a server should actually check.
