About the Browser Information Viewer

Browser, engine, operating system, language, time zone, core count, memory class, touch support and your dark mode and reduced motion preferences - everything a page can read about your environment without asking permission.

Any one of these values is unremarkable. Combined, they are distinctive enough to identify a browser across sites without any cookie at all, which is what browser fingerprinting means. Seeing them listed together is the clearest demonstration of why.

Nothing here is transmitted. The page reads the values and prints them.

Questions people ask

Is it free, and do I need an account?
