About the XML Sitemap Generator
One sitemap can hold 50,000 URLs and must stay under 50 MB uncompressed. Beyond that you need several files and a sitemap index pointing at them.
Only list URLs you actually want indexed, that return 200, and that are canonical. Redirects, 404s and non-canonical duplicates in a sitemap waste crawl budget and reduce trust in the file.
Search engines largely ignore priority and changefreq. `lastmod` is used, but only when it is honest - a file where every date updates daily is discounted.

No. This tool runs entirely in your browser using standard web APIs, so your code never leaves your device. You can confirm it by opening your browser's network panel while the tool runs, or by disconnecting from the internet after the page has loaded.
Is it free, and do I need an account?
Yes, it is free, and there is no account, no sign-up and no watermark on the result. The project is funded by optional donations.
