About the Image Dimensions Viewer

Dimensions, aspect ratio in lowest terms, megapixels, file size and whether the image contains any transparency - the facts you need before resizing or converting it.

The bytes-per-pixel figure is a quick quality indicator: a heavily compressed JPEG sits around 0.1, a lightly compressed one around 0.5, and an uncompressed format at 3 or 4.
