About the Pressure Converter

One atmosphere is defined as exactly 101,325 pascals. A bar is 100,000 pascals - close to an atmosphere but not equal to it, which matters in precise work.

Millimetres of mercury survive in medicine, where blood pressure is still measured in mmHg because the original instrument was a mercury column.

Every unit converts through a single base unit, so the arithmetic is one multiplication and one division - both shown in the working, along with the exact factor used.
