About the Sales Tax Calculator
Removing tax is the half people get wrong. Taking 20% off a gross total does not give the net amount, because the tax was calculated on the net, not on the total. You have to divide by 1.20 instead of multiplying by 0.80 - a difference of about 4% at that rate.
