How to use it

- 2Press the button. Your browser unpacks and reads the file locally.
- 3Read or download the result. Nothing was uploaded, so there is nothing to delete afterwards.
About the RTF Viewer
RTF is a plain-text format full of control words, so a browser can read it directly without a converter.
The preview shows the text content in a sandboxed frame. Formatting is not reconstructed - this answers "what does this file say", not "what does it look like".
Questions people ask
Is my document uploaded?
No. A DOCX or ODT file is a ZIP archive of XML, and both are unpacked and read by your own browser. Nothing is transmitted, nothing is stored, and the tool works with the network disconnected once the page has loaded.
Is it free, and do I need an account?
Yes, it is free, and there is no account, no sign-up and no watermark on the result. The project is funded by optional donations.
